Roka Akor
Roka Akor brings an unparalleled combination of thoughtful design and contemporary Robatayaki Japanese cuisine. The restaurants name is derived from two words: RO and KA. The meaning of the first word is hearth, a gathering place where people socialize and take in the ambiance; the latter stands for a burning fire and projecting energy. The menu offers small plates, entrees from the impressive action-packed Robata grill, salads, sashimi and sushi. There is a full bar that will be open every night until 2 a.m. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday night Roka Akor will feature a DJ. Additionally, the restaurant offers two private rooms and an outdoor patio.

Spicy Tuna Sushi Lounge
Spicy Tuna Sushi Lounge is Scottsdale's newest dining and entertainment destination featuring a chic, swanky design created by Studio K whose credits include Sapporo, Zinc Bistro and The Vig to name a few. Formerly Ippei Japanese Bistro, the owners wanted to add a Scottsdale touch to the traditional design and cuisine of the past. The menu still includes a full sushi bar and has added popular dishes such as Albacore Tataki and Yellowtail Carpaccio to spice up the menu. Spicy Tuna also serves an array of robata cuisine (items grilled over Japanese charcoal) and unique appetizers like the Kobe beef hot rock. Spicy Tuna currently serves dinner only with a Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm weekdays. Reservations are recommended.
