Southwest Media Communications' websites receive over 4.5 million visitors per year, largely because they are the top-ranked "organic" sites for the most popular and relevant search engine queries like "sedona," "sedona arizona," "grand canyon," "grand canyon, arizona," and many others. These Travel Sites to Be Seen are free for visitors to use, browse and book their travel. The websites are neatly organized and easy to navigate, allowing visitors to find businesses in specific categories like lodging, what to do, golf, spas, tours as well as restaurants, real estate, and shopping – even weddings! 

History
The Travel Sites to Be Seen were first designed and launched in 1996, at the advent of the Internet.  In late 2005, Southwest Media Communications launched its newest site, scottsdale-phoenix.net and in 2006 re-launched redesigned versions of thecanyon.com, flagstaff.com, prescott.com.  Plans to re-launch the redesigned sedona.net are set for December 2006.  The new look and features of the sites offer the visitor a pleasantly consistent experience across all five sites, allowing him or her to effectively and efficiently plan an entire Arizona vacation, starting in Scottsdale-Phoenix, traveling north through Prescott to Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.
